FanBoards ("FanBoards," "we," "us," or "our") helps parents and families turn a photo of their athlete into a custom printed board. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website and services, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to design, produce, and ship your board:

• Information you provide: your name, email address, shipping address, and the text you add to your board (athlete name, message, and similar details).
• Photos you upload: the athlete photo you choose for your board. We process it (including background removal) solely to create your design and print your order.
• Payment information: card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Automatic information: basic technical data such as your device, browser, and general usage, used to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

• To create your design, show you how it will print, and produce and ship your order.
• To send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and support replies.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and service.
• To send occasional product news or offers only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe anytime.

Photos and children's information

Many boards feature photos of minors. We treat these images with care. You should upload a photo only if you are the parent or legal guardian of the child pictured, or you otherwise have permission to use the image. We use uploaded photos exclusively to produce your board. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them for advertising or to train third-party AI models. If you would like a photo or order removed from our systems, contact us and we'll take care of it.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run FanBoards, and only as needed to do their job:

• Payments: Stripe (checkout and payment processing).
• Storage & hosting: cloud providers that store your images and run our website.
• Image processing: a background-removal service used to prepare your photo for print.
• Email: providers that deliver order and shipping emails.
• Printing & shipping: print and carrier partners who produce and deliver your board.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our customers and our business.

Data retention

We keep your order information and images for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your photos or account information at any time.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Ask us to remove an uploaded photo or a past order.
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep the site working (for example, to remember your session). We don't use them to track you across other websites.
