Both of these go up in under a minute and come down just as fast.

Clip it to the drape

Most meets already have this
  • 2 binder clips (2″)
  • S-hooks — optional
  1. Slide a binder clip onto each top corner, about two inches in from the edge.
  2. Fold both wire arms upright so they stand above the board like little handles.
  3. Drop each arm over a drapery hook — or clip an S-hook through the arm and onto the rod.
  4. Slide the board left or right until it hangs straight, then press the clips firm.

Ask first. Some venues would rather you didn't hang anything on their drape. A quick word with the meet director saves an awkward conversation mid-session.

Stand it on an easel

Best for tables & team camps
  • Canvas easel (tabletop or floor)
  • 1 binder clip for breezy days
  1. Set the ledge so the board sits upright, leaning back slightly — not straight up.
  2. Rest the board on the ledge and push it gently back against the frame.
  3. Outdoors? Clip the top edge to the easel's crossbar. The board is light, and a gust will take it.

Any canvas easel works. A 16 × 24 board is lighter than the canvas these are built for, so a basic wooden tabletop easel holds it happily.

Stick it on the wall

No nails, no holes
  • 4 removable mounting strips
  • Rubbing alcohol
  1. Wipe the wall and the back of the board with rubbing alcohol. Let both dry — a good three minutes.
  2. Click the strip pairs together, then press one side onto the board's four corners.
  3. Peel the liners, set the board on the wall, and press each corner firmly for 30 seconds.
  4. Take it off, press each strip on the wall again for 30 seconds, then wait an hour before hanging it for good.

Don't skip the alcohol. Plastic sheds adhesive far more readily than paper does. A clean, dry surface on both sides is the whole trick.

Strap it to a rail

Bleachers, fences, pop-up tents
  • 2 hook-and-loop cable straps
  • Or zip ties + binder clips
  1. Loop a strap over the rail and around the top edge of the board, about a hand's width in from each corner.
  2. Pull snug — firm enough that the board doesn't slide, gentle enough not to dent the edge.
  3. Using zip ties instead? Clip the board first, then thread the tie through the clip's wire arm, never through the board.

Mind the wind. A 16 × 24 board is a small sail. Outdoors, fasten the bottom corners too, or angle it flat against the fence.

Keeping It Sharp

Looking after it

Four things worth knowing. The first one surprises people.

Rain is fine

It's outdoor sign plastic. A wet morning won't hurt it — just wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it air dry.

Never fold it

Hollow ribs run top to bottom. Bend it the wrong way and you get a permanent white crease. Carry it flat, not rolled.

Out of the hot car

A board left on a sunny dashboard for hours can bow. Lay it flat in the back or stand it upright behind a seat.

Store it flat

Under a bed or behind a dresser, lying flat or standing straight up. Leaning it at an angle for months invites a lean it keeps.

One more thing: no household sprays or cleaning wipes on the print. Water on a soft cloth is all it needs, and anything stronger can dull the finish.
